It is also a great way to fulfill "The Employer" legal obligations under the Occupational Health & Safety Act.

The Ontario Occupational Health & Safety Act (Bill 168) has mandated businesses to establish a workplace violence program that will ensure their employees are protected against violence, threats or harassment as a result businesses must come up with new and innovative ways to accomplish this. There are many facets to the workplace violence program, however one critical point that the program must account for are "measures and procedures to Summon immediate assistance when violence occurs or is likely to occur"*.
